Sushant Singh Rajput wanted to become like Shah Rukh Khan; here's what he said

Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput once opened his heart and said that he wished to become like Shah Rukh Khan.

Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput's passing news came as a shock to all Bollywood fans and his co-stars. Last, year Singh committed suicide; he was just 34. Singh was not just a talented actor but cherished living his life to the fullest. 

Sushant, who was loved for his performances in movies like MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, PK, Kai Po Che, Chhichhore, and Kedarnath, killed himself to a ceiling fan on June 14. 

He shot to fame with his role in Pavitra Rishta, in which he played the lead role. Later he made his debut on the big screen with Abhishek Kapoor’s Kai Po Che, which was based on Chetan Bhagat's novel The Three Mistakes of My Life. His biggest hit was MS Dhoni’s biopic M.S.Dhoni: The Untold Story. We got an old interview of Sushant, wherein he had talked about his wish to become like 'King' Khan-Shah Rukh Khan. In the 2015 interview he talked about his future plans and more.

Sushant had said, "I don't know about being superstar, but one day if I become like him, I will not mind that. I was inspired by the way Shah Rukh carries himself, the energy with which he plays a character." 

Sushant wanted to be like SRK, "I understand too that there is a sense of responsibility with that. If I get the kind of films that I really want to do, and if I manage to survive in this industry, I will become somebody like that." 

Last year, when Khan got to know about the tragic news of Sushant’s death, he took to Twitter and wrote, "He loved me so much...I will miss him so much. His energy, enthusiasm and his full happy smile. May Allah bless his soul and my condolences to his near and dear ones. This is extremely sad....and so shocking!!"
