Jung Ho-Yeon, or Player 067 of Netflix's blockbuster popular Korean online series Squid Game, which has become a global phenomenon, may have lost both the prize money and her life after reaching the last round, much to the regret of every viewer. Still, her popularity in the aftermath of the show has resulted in a highly lucrative deal.
Jung Ho-Yeon, also known as HoYeon Jung, has been named the global ambassador of worldwide design giant Louis Vuitton, becoming the brand's second and only individual star to hold the title after K-pop band BTS. Jung Ho-life Yeon's has gone full circle, as she used to model before earning her first acting role on Netflix's Squid Game. She had walked the runway for Louis Vuitton's Spring-Summer 2017 show. She also appeared in its pre-Fall 2017 ready-to-wear campaign, making her new work with the fashion company a homecoming for the actress, but in a far more important way than she was previously linked with it.
Jung Ho-Yeon, the new global ambassador for Louis Vuitton following BTS, told a press contingent, "It's an honour to return to the fashion company that she previously modelled for. I'm looking forward to all of my opportunities as a worldwide ambassador for Louis Vuitton."
"I aim to start a new chapter in the adventure that began five years ago," Nicolas Ghesquiere, Louis Vuitton's artistic director of women's collections, told the press. "I was immediately smitten by Ho-incredibleYeon'ss talent and charming demeanour," he added.
Furthermore, as a result of Squid Game, Jung Ho-Yeon has acquired 15 million Instagram followers.
