Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt's relationship: Here's what Mahesh Bhatt, Soni Razdan think about daughter's choice

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are now one of the most talked-about couples in Bollywood. Know what Alia's mom and dad think about Ranbir 

Ever since Ranbir Kapoor entered the film industry, we have seen many women in his life, from Avantika Malik to Deepika Padukone to Katrina Kaif and now Alia Bhatt. 

Many reports gave out “details” on the “possible wedding” like the ceremony held in France. The couple had already booked caterers and had confidential meetings with famous designer Sabyasachi. Most of the time, these rumours turned out to be false.

In an interview with Rajeev Masand, Ranbir had said that he and Alia were to get married in 2020, but then Covid-19 struck. He said, "It would’ve been sealed had the pandemic not hit our lives. I don’t want to jinx it by saying anything. I want to tick-mark that goal very soon in my life."

Alia's father Mahesh Bhatt might be fond of daughter’s boyfriend Ranbir but there was a time when he gave some honest answers about the Rockstar actor on Karan Johar’s show. 

Much before Alia and Ranbir made their relationship official, Mahesh had suggested ‘Ladies Man’ as a possible title for Ranbir’s biopic on the chat show Koffee With Karan.

However, Alia's mother Soni Razdan has something else to say about Ranbir. In an interview with BollywoodLife.com she said, "It's her personal life. Ranbir is a lovely boy. I think whoever Alia has dated before or will date, (it) is her choice and her life. I'll always support her but I don't think I should discuss this you know. It's not right on my part to discuss (her personal life) in public. As a mom, I'm just happy if she is happy."

Alia and Ranbir made their first appearance back in May 2018 when they posed together for Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja's wedding. 

Since their first official appearance, both have made headlines even for the most trivial updates in their personal and professional lives.
