Ramya back on Twitter: BJP MLA Renukacharya throws first punch with jibe

Ramya is not just a Sandalwood actress, she has also worked in several Kollywood movies. With her talent, the actress went on to become the number one actress in the Kannada film industry.

There was a time when producers would queue up to have her sign on for movies. Her calendar would be full. Ramya has worked in some brilliant films and within a short span of time, she was able to win the hearts of millions.

However, for reasons best known to the actress, Ramya took a break from movies and that too when she was at the peak of her career.

Ramya took the political plunge and was elected from Mandya on a Congress ticket. Soon after, she did not contest but was made the social media chief of the Congress.

The actor-politician had taken a dig at a photo of PM Modi standing by the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s 182-metre tall Statue of Unity, with the comment: “Is that bird dropping?”

She has not been in either politics or movies for quite some time now after it was reported that the actress had deleted her Twitter account.

In fact, her fans had been pestering her to make a comeback to movies, stating they missed seeing her on the big screen.

Now, the latest we hear is that Ramya aka Divya Spandana is back on Twitter. Even though she is yet to post her first tweet after her comeback, fans are happy that she is back!

BJP MLA MP Renukacharya took a dig at her as soon her account was activated. Renukacharya wrote, "Social media chief @divyaspandana had disappeared for a long time. She has silently activated her Twitter account. Let's see if she heaps praise on PM Modi's way of tackling this situation."
