Clean Canvas
A clean and moisturised skin is very important to achieve that seamless foundation application. According to a report in Vogue, Katrina shared that she dips her face in a bowl of ice water to keep her pores close. She also uses a mild moisturiser and then begins her makeup.

Right application
She starts her makeup by putting dots on the foundation on the forehead, cheeks, and chin. Then she dabs it towards her hairline and jaw.

The right shade is important
Kaif stresses on swatching the colours on your hands or jawline to find the right shade of the foundation.

Tools
For lighter coverage, she uses her fingers, sometimes she uses brushes or blenders for a high-coverage look.

Formula
Chose the right formula is a must. Hydrating, mattifying, dewy, or silky a proper foundation formula is important according to the need and occasion to give a good finish.
