Dhanush's Raanjhanaa director Aanand L Rai shared his views on Tamil actor's latest film Karnan on Twitter; read on

Tamil film Karnan is finally out on Amazon Prime after the theatres released last month. Dhanush's action-drama is loosely based on the 1995 Kodiyankulam caste violence in the Thoothukudi district.
Soon after its release in theatres on April 9th, several famous names in the Tamil film industry praise Dhanush's performance. Several noted Bollywood personalities also have praised Dhanush for the same.
Bollywood filmmaker and Dhanush's Raanjhanaa director, Aanand L. Rai, also shared his views.
Aanand took to Twitter and wrote: “OUTSTANDING & BRILLIANT...This is how you can describe this experience called #Karnan. @mari_selvaraj - What a storyteller! The way you painted ur thoughts on the celluloid. Take a bow! @dhanushkraja - You are a magician mere bhai ..u should have told me. I thought u r an actor.” Check out his tweet below:
About Karnan: The film is Mari Selvaraj’s second directorial feature after Pariyerum Perumal. The movie also stars Rajisha Vijayan as the female lead, Lal, Natty, Gauri G. Kishan, and are seen in prominent supporting roles.
