Virat Kohli is the second wealthiest cricketers among the active ones. He happens to own a number of cars and lead a lavish lifestyle. From Audi to Bentley and many more, Kohli has a knack of owning luxurious cars, besides owing a couple of posh properties as well.
As far as Virat Kohli is concerned, it is his sublime gameplay that makes him the most elegant batsman in the world right now. Consequently, he has become one of the wealthiest players in the sport, as he happens to be the second-richest among active cricketers.
Naturally, earning huge bucks, along with his Bollywood wife, Anushka Sharma, he leads a lavish lifestyle. As for his lifestyle, it includes posh properties and high-ends cars, that range from Audi to Bentley and many more.
However, of late, it has been noticed that the first Audi car he possessed, is now lying abandoned at a police station in Mumbai. As the reports of the same emerged, fans have been wondering if Kohli was involved in any wrongdoing.
Let us make it clear that it has nothing to do with Kohli being involved in any unwanted incidents involving the car. Also, Kohli happened to the brand ambassador for Audi India some years back, as he used to lay his hands on most of their new models, letting go of the older version.
Similarly, his first Audi, that happened to be a 2012 Audi R8, was sold by the Indian skipper in 2016 to a broker, named Sagar Thakkar. However, the latter was involved in a scam, leading to police seize the car.
Although Sagar had bought the car from Kohli in the right way to gift to his girlfriend, that involved proper paperwork, he was arrested over a call centre scam by Mumbai Police. As all his properties were raided, police had to seize the car as a part of the procedure.
Ever since, the seized car has been lying abandoned at a police station, which Kohli had sold for ₹2.5 crore. He had previously pictured himself in with the car on several occasions and loved driving the car.
