Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have been dating each other since 2013. It was not before 2017 when they decided to tie the knot in Italy, in a private ceremony. The two are expecting their first child, who is due to arrive in January 2021.

Nonetheless, Kohli protected her and shut the critics and trollers down, by saying, "The stuff that happened after the World Cup semi-final, the way people reacted towards my personal life and Anushka in particular, was really disrespectful. I want to put this out in public because at the human level, I was really hurt and wanted to express that for quite a long time." Meanwhile, Anushka referred to him as, "He's my very, very good looking arm candy."
