Indian leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal is having a decent stint with Team India. He is also giving his exemplary services to Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League.

Chahal has made a name for himself and a career in cricket. However, he happens to specialise in a different sport as well.

Recently, Chahal shared a picture of his that was clicked during a photoshoot of RCB for the IPL 2021 season. In the photo, he is seen along with AB de Villiers, Mohammed Siraj and Washington Sundar, as the latter three are seated in front of chessboards, with Chahal standing in front of them, implying that he is playing against all the three. The post was captioned, “The King’s Gambit ♟“.

For those who wonder, Chahal actually had a chess career, having represented India at the competitive level in youth tournaments. As he struggled to find a suitable sponsor for himself, he gave up the sport while being listed on the World Chess Federation site.
