West Bengal reports 926 new COVID-19 cases; 21 more deaths

West Bengal reported 926 new COVID-19 cases taking the toll to 5,59,099 on Friday (January 8). According to the state health bulletin, 21 people died in the state pushing the state’s coronavirus death toll to 9,902.

<p>However, 1,136 people recovered in the state in a single day and returned home from the hospital. The recovery rate in the state stands at 96.75 percent.<br />
