West Bengal reports 462 new COVID-19 cases; 2 more deaths

West Bengal on Wednesday (March 24) reported 462 new COVID-19 cases taking the toll to 5,81,865. According to the state health bulletin, 2 people died in a single day in the state taking the toll to 10,312. 

<p>Out of the 2 deaths, one was reported from Kolkata and one from East Bardhaman district. However, the deaths were due to comorbidities where COVID-19 was incidental.<br />&nbsp;</p>

<p>According to the state health bulletin, 334 people recovered in a single day in the state and returned home from the hospital. The recovery rate stands at 97.58 percent.<br />&nbsp;</p>

<p>The number of active cases in the state currently is 3,782. Till Wednesday, 5,67,771 people have been cured of the disease in the state.</p>
