West Bengal reports 26 more COVID-19 deaths; 1,153 new cases

West Bengal reported 1,153 new COVID-19 cases pushing the tally to 5,53,216. According to the state health bulletin, 26 people died in a single day. however, the COVID-19 death toll in West Bengal rose to 9,738.

<p>The recovery rate in the state stands at 96.07 percent after 1,496 patients recovered from the disease, taking the total number of cured people to 5,31,862 in West Bengal.<br />
