West Bengal reports 1,028 new COVID-19 cases; 27 more deaths

West Bengal reported 1,028 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours pushing the tally to 5,48,471. Meanwhile, 27 fresh fatalities pushed the state’s coronavirus death toll to 9,625. 

<p style="text-align: justify;">According to the state health bulletin, the cumulative number of discharged persons became 5,25,685. The recovery rate also has increased to 95.85 percent.<br />&nbsp;</p>
