Coronavirus: Recovery rate nears 95% in West Bengal

West Bengal reports new 1,978 COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours. However, the recovery rate neared 95% in the state. According to the state health bulletin, 40 people died in a single day taking the death toll to 9,360.

<p>A bulk of the new cases (58.74 percent) and deaths (27) occurred in the infection hotspot of which Kolkata and North 24 Parganas tops the list.</p>
