Coronavirus: Number of cases dip further in West Bengal; recovery rate at 97.19%

After the COVID-19 vaccine arrived in West Bengal, the number of cases are declining. The state on Wednesday (January 27) reported 234 new COVID-19 cases taking the toll to 5,68,884.

<p>Out of the 8 deaths, one each was reported from Kolkata, South 24 Parganas, North 24 Parganas, Hooghly, Howrah, East Medinipur, Bankura, and Jalpaiguri.</p>

<p>A total of 5,52,877 people have recovered from the disease so far, the bulletin said. Kolkata reported 62 new cases, followed by North 24 Parganas district at 52.</p>
