Coronavirus: Number of active cases dip further in West Bengal; recovery rate at 97.54%

West Bengal on Tuesday (February 16) reported 151 new COVID-19 cases taking the toll to 5,72,879. According to the state health bulletin, two fresh fatalities pushed the state’s coronavirus death toll to 10,235. 

<p>However, 255 people were recovered from COVID-19 in a single day in the state and returned home from the hospital. The recovery rate in the state stands at 97.54 percent.</p>

<p>Kolkata reported the highest number of new cases at 49, followed by North 24 Parganas at 41.</p>
