Shocking: Popular actress Sangeetha Balan caught in sex-racket?

As per a report by The Times of India, Sangeetha was reportedly found involved in prostitution, at a private resort at Panayur in Chennai. The actress, who is acting in the popular 'Vani Rani' serial, has been accused of introducing several young actresses are also engaged in prostitution at the resort.

The news has come as a shock for Tamil industry and no other official details have been made so far.

During the course of the primary investigation, it was also revealed that many other young actresses were a part of this nexus at the same resort. The Chennai police also reportedly rescued three young actresses who were allegedly a part of the racket.

The report also suggested that the police got a tip-off about the prostitution racket in the resort and they raided the place and found Sangeetha at the centre of the network. Another accused named Suresh has also been arrested. Sangeetha and Suresh were presented before Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Egmore and have been sent to jail.

Sangeetha has also acted in some films like Karuppu Roja and Tamilsevanum Thaniyar Anjalum. She has also been part of other television shows like Chellamey and Aval.
