Satish Neenasam gets injured while shooting for Godhra

Kannada actor Satish Neenasam got hurt while shooting for the climax scene of the movie Godhra. Reports say that he got injured on rib portion. 

The incident happened when a stunt went wrong. It was a  bomb explosion sequence was being shot at Kukke Subramanya. In the climax scene, the actor was driving an old jeep. The stunt director had fixed an explosive device, what is usually used to blast windshields. Unfortunately, the production team had forgotten to change the glass, and its shards entered Satish’s upper body. During shooting hard glass is switched with sugar glass, which breaks into powder when hit. but the filmmakers missed it.

 

 

 

The actor is now advised bed rest for a week and got three stitches on the rib. Satish on his twitter page has confirmed there is no need to panic as he is doing fine. Speaking to Asianet Newsable, the actor said he is fine and he is back shooting for Godhra. 

In an interview with New Indian Express, Sathish said he is grateful that the shards didn’t injure my head or my face.

Vinod Master was the stunt director. Recently, actors Komal and Yogi too had got injured when they were shooting for Kempegowda 2 at Mahabalipuram. Last year, November 07, actors Anil Kumar and Raghava Uday drowned when they took a 60-feet plunge from a chopper while shooting for Maasthi Gudi's climax.
