Popular South Indian actor commits suicide

According to the news reports, Pradeep allegedly hanged himself at his residence in Puppalaguda in the morning. No suicide note was found at the actor's home.

Pradeep who was known for his lead role in the Telugu serial Saptha Matrika. His wife, TV actress Pavani Reddy, was not home at the time. The couple had tied the knot recently. While the reasons behind the suicide are yet to be known, it is widely speculated that there were family disputes. However, an unconfirmed source even said that financial issues could be the cause for the extreme step.

Pradeep has acted in several serials and plays the lead role in a Telugu serial Saptha Matrika while his wife is seen in the show Agnipooulu. Police have registered a case and are investigating. The film fraternity has expressed shock at the grievous turn of events.
