Bollywood veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah is admitted to Hinduja Hospital in Khar, Mumbai. The same hospital where actor Dilip Kumar is admitted since the morning after complaining of breathlessness.

Coming back to Naseeruddin Shah, yesterday, June 29, he was admitted to a hospital after being diagnosed with pneumonia. The actor's manager said that the actor had a pneumonia patch on his lungs.

Shah’s manager confirmed the news to indianexpress.com. “Sir was hospitalised on June 29, but he is now doing well. There is a pneumonia patch on his lungs, and the treatment is going on. He might be discharged today or tomorrow,” he said.

Last year, reports about Shah’s deteriorating health grabbed headlines when the country suffered from Covid 19 and Irrfan Khan, Rishi Kapoor's death. Later, the actor had rubbished reports of his hospitalisation, saying that he was “fine" and at home following the nationwide lockdown.

Naseeruddin Shah is a three-time National Award-winning actor who has been honoured with the Padma Shri and the Padma Bhushan for his contributions to Indian cinema.
