An audio clip has emerged of actor Tom Cruise unleashing fury upon crew members of Mission: Impossible 7 after some of them violated social distancing and other guidelines that needed to be followed while making movies during the coronavirus pandemic.

In the strongly-worded audio clip (external link), accessed by Britain's Sun newspaper, Cruise is reportedly heard saying: "We are the gold standard. They are back there in Hollywood making movies right now because of us. Because they believe in us and what we are doing. I am on the phone with every f***ing studio at night. Insurance companies, producers, and they are looking at us and using us to make their movies. We are creating thousands of jobs, you m***********s. I don’t ever want to see it again. Ever!"

Cruise in then heard saying, "You can tell it to the people who are losing their f***ing homes because our industry is shut down. It’s not going to put food on their table or pay for their college education. That’s what I sleep with every night -- the future of this f***ing industry! So I am sorry, I am beyond your apologies. I have told you, and now I want it, and if you do not do it, you are out. We are not shutting this f***ing movie down! Is it understood? If I see it again, you’re f***ing gone."

"Do you understand the responsibility that you have? Because I will deal with your reason. And if you can't be reasonable and I cannot deal with your logic, you are fired."

Mission: Impossible 7 also stars Ving Rhames, Rebecca Ferguson, Simon Pegg, Hayley Atwell, Vaness Kirby and others. The film is directed by Christopher McQuarrie and set to release on November 19, 2021.
