FollowTV host and a budding Kannada actress, Kavya Shastry, seems to be really upset with one of her Facebook followers who sent a vulgar message to her on a social media platform.
These days, such kind of cheap thrills are becoming too common. In recent days, actresses and female celebrities have suffered a lot. From Anumol, Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, Kavya Madhavan, Sheetal Shetty, Nitya Ram and Sruthi Hariharan, the trend has been the same.
Now, unfortunately, Kavya Shastry had to face similar incident. Recently, Kavya had posted her picture on Facebook account. A follower started giving vulgar comments on the picture.
Later, Kavya gave a befitting reply to the pervert. She said, "Those who do not respect the female gender do not deserve a place in my follower's list. I give respect to only those who respect women equally. Women are human beings too! It is high time these things stopped."
Kavya, expressing her anger also added, "I am not accusing the entire male race for this. I have many followers who give me my due respect and consider me as their sister. I have a huge respect for those people. Be careful on what you comment for whom."
"I am confessing this with a lot of pain in my heart. I ask everyone not to send such obscene words to me in the future. I do not want to see such obscenity and cheapness on my social media account. In case this continues, I am going to take a screen shot of it and put it on Facebook and complain against the wrongdoers," said Kavya.
