To think that this rape-accused Hollywood director wanted desperately to meet Aishwarya Rai alone!

Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein's sexual harassment case shook the whole of film industry when many top actresses like Angelina Jolie, Gwyneth Paltrow Rose McGowan and more have come out in the open and confessed to being a victim of his assault. Oscar winners like Jennifer Lawrence, Meryl Streep, Kate Winslet and others condemned it and applauded the women who opened up about it.

Weinstein, who has been dismissed from The Weinstein Company, has been accused by multiple women of sexually harassing them over a period of nearly 30 years. According to the reports, he invited women to hotel rooms for business reasons and then greeted them nude or asked them to massage him or watch him in the shower.

Recently, model turned actress Cara Delevingne opened about her horrifying experience with Harvey and how he tried to make her kiss another actress right in front of him.

However, this is the first time an incident involving an Indian actress has been reported. Now, as per a report on a popular Hollywood website, Harvey wanted to meet Aishwarya Rai Bachchan alone, but thanks to her manager, she saved her from being a victim.

In a report by Variety, talent manager Simone Sheffield revealed that Weinstein wanted to meet Aishwarya Rai Bachchan "alone."

She stated, "I use to manage Indian actress Aishwarya Rai. While dealing with Harvey I found it comical how hard he tried to get Aishwarya alone. But he was a pig… looked and acted like a “big bully pig”….He asked me to leave the meeting numerous times and I politely declined. When we were leaving his office he cornered me and said “what do I have to do to get her alone?” I told him to “kiss my black ass”. When Ash and I returned to our hotel, I sent Harvey a steel pig trough filled with DIET COKE as a thank you gift for the meeting. Yes, we did do business and Yes, he eventually threatened me. Told me I’d never work in this business, blah blah blah….what I said to him I can’t print. But you can be sure, I never gave him the opportunity to even breathe on my client.

 However, Simone did not reveal when and where it happened. Aishwarya has featured in numerous Hollywood movies which include Bride and Prejudice, The Mistress of Spices, The Pink Panther 2, The Last Legion, Provoked and Journey Across India.

Reports, say that Simone Sheffield managed the actress for over a decade before they parted ways in 2011.
