Here's how 'Stree' boosted Abhishek Banerjee's morale; actor celebrates film's three years
Abhishek Banerjee feels that Stree acted as a game-changer for him and boosted his morale and belief in himself.
Everyone remembers Jana from Stree, none other than Abhishek Banerjee. The actor played a supporting role in the film that starred Rajkummar Rao, Aparshakti Khurrana and Shraddha Kapoor.
Abhishek's character Jana – was applauded by fans, and he became a popular household name. As the movie completes three years, the actor recalls how the film changed his life. Banerjee shares that before Stree, he only saw ten years of rejection. He was not getting an acting job and was not able to crack auditions. Even though he was a casting director getting into films was not an easy task for him.
Banerjee said that Stree ultimately boosted his confidence, morale and his belief in himself. He further said that this film gave him friends for life too.
Taking to social media, Abhishek wrote, "3 years ago… My life changed Thank You to each one of you for showing so much love and support " (sic). Abhishek has an exciting lineup of different genre films, including 'Helmet', 'Ankahi Kahaniya', 'Rashmi Rocket', 'Bhediya', 'Aankh Micholi', 'Dostana 2', and an untitled Telugu film.
