Bhojpuri singer and actor Khesari Lal Yadav has landed in legal trouble after a criminal case has been registered against the former Bigg Boss 13 contestant for allegedly producing songs with obscene content.

The former Bigg Boss 13 contestant has been booked under section 292, 294, and 354 of the Indian Penal Code for allegedly producing songs with obscene content and vulgarity towards the woman in India.

A criminal case has been registered against the Bhojpuri actor and singer by the head of Sanatan Seva Foundation, Shri Surjeet Singh, in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

In his complaint, Surjeet Singh accused the singer, actor of making vulgar and obscene videos to mint money.

Sighting an example, Singh mentioned his recently released song that is creating a huge buzz online - 'Chachi Ke Bachi Sawanpanva Mein Aati Hein' and deemed it for showing disrespect towards women in society.

Singh also provided necessary evidence in the form of screenshots and demanded strict action against the singer, who has often been a part of the controversy.

Yadav was a part of Bigg Boss 13 but was soon evicted from the show. In an interview with TOI, he revealed that the format of the show did not suit him. He added that he had a bad experience. He claimed that the show's format turns humans into a devil.
