Baahubali director SS Rajamouli slams Delhi airport; says, "not a great first impression of India"
Upset SS Rajamouli complained about the lack of proper facilities at Delhi airport, saying that this does not give a good impression of India to foreigners.
Director SS Rajamouli recently visited Delhi airport, and he was not impressed with the site. He complained about the lack of proper amenities at the Delhi airport and said that this does not give a good impression of India to foreigners.
He took to his Twitter account on Friday, July 02, to complain about the lack of proper facilities at the Delhi airport and requested the authority to improve those in a series of tweets.
Rajamouli tweeted: "Dear @DelhiAirport, arrived at 1 AM by Lufthanasa flight. Forms were given to fill for the RT-PcR test. All the passengers are sitting on the floors or propping against the walls to fill the forms. Not a pretty sight. Providing tables is a simple service."
"And surprised to find so many stray dogs in the hangar outside the exit gate. Again not a great first impression of India for the foreigners. Please look into it. Thank you...," he added in another tweet.
However, his tweet did not go well down with many animal rights activists, and he landed in controversy for his recent tweets. They said the filmmaker should avoid making such insensible remarks on public platforms.
Even netizens on social media flooded Rajamouli’s timeline by slamming him for his tweet.
