Assam is currently experiencing one of the worst crises this year due to destructive floods. The deluge's effects continued to cause distress for more than 21 lakh people.
The Assam CM relief fund has recently received assistance from Bollywood star Aamir Khan.

Several Indian philanthropists are moving forward to offer assistance in the wake of devastating surges. Several Assamese families are forced to unintentionally risk coming into contact with wildlife in an elephant corridor in Nellie's Khulahat Forest because their homes and farms have been submerged.

In addition to lacking shelter, there is a water shortage and hunger among the populace. The disaster has grown worse than ever, and the locals will soon face financial difficulties.

Taking to his social media, the Chief Minister of Assam, Himanta Biswas Sarma, shared a gratitude note dedicated to the star. He wrote “ Eminent Bollywood actor Amir Khan extended a helping hand to the flood-affected people of our State by making a generous contribution of ₹25 lakh towards CM Relief Fund. My sincere gratitude for his concern and act of generosity”.
