1) Filmi background
Varalaxmi is the daughter of popular actor Sarathkumar, who has acted in a number of Kannada films including Ram, Myna, Sarathi, Seetharama Kalyana, Santheyalli Nintha Kabeera. She lives with her mother Chaya. Her step-mother, Radhika Sarathkumar is a big name in the Tamil film and TV industry. She has a younger sister Pooja and a step-sister Rayanne Hardy and step-brother Rahul.
Varalaxmi graduated with a degree in microbiology from Hindustan Arts and Science college, Chennai. She also has master’s in business management from the University of Edinburgh.
Varalaxmi is not one to rest on her filmy background. She certainly believes in learning the craft too. She also has a degree from Anupam Kher’s Acting School in Mumbai.
