VS terms Chandy's confidence as 'stupidity'

Terming the showers as a good sign, Communist Party of India Marxist  leader VS Achuthanandan said the triumph of Left Democratic Front is certain. The veteran leader ridiculed the confidence expressed by Chief Minister Oommen Chandy to have a second term in power as 'stupidity.'

"There is a left wave across the state. Every taluk, every district and across the state, the sentiments of people are in favour of Left front", said Achuthanandan.

 Achuthanandan took a tour of a few polling booths at Malampuzha where he is seeking a third term. The CPM leader will leave for Alappuzha where he will cast his vote.
