DMK–led alliance to outperform AIADMK front, says pre-poll survey

Another opinion poll survey released yesterday says that several seats Tamil Nadu polls might witness a neck and neck contest as reported by the Hindu.

The poll conducted by the Tamil magazine Junior Vikatan said the DMK-led alliance will register a win in 77 constituencies. The AIADMK and its allies will win in 73 assembly seats. The survey suggests that the PMK will just bag one seat.

While individually AIADMK will win 73 seats and DMK will fare well in 64 seats. DMK’s ally Congress will bag 10 seats and other allies Puthiya Tamilagam, IUML and MMK would win one seat each.

The poll suggests that as many as 83 remaining constituencies will witness a close contest.
