Upset over his wife's death due to cancer, a man killed his three children before committing suicide
FollowChandigarh: A man killed his three children before taking the extreme step as he was upset over his wife's death.
The 35-year-old man in Punjab's Bathinda district committed suicide on Thursday.
He is identified as Beant Singh, a resident of village Hamirgarh. According to reports, he was upset over the death of his wife due to cancer two months ago.
The report added that Beant used to earn his livelihood by transporting goods on his motorised rickshaw.

According to police, Beant first killed his three children, 7-year-old Prabhjot Singh, 3-year-old Arshdeep Kaur and 1-year-old Khushi. Beant then ended his life by hanging himself from the ceiling of his house.
The bodies of two younger children were found hanging from a cot while Prabhjot's body was found hanging from the ceiling, police said.
A suicide note was also found, according to reports.
