Bengaluru drug case: Search at model, actor Sonia Agarwal's house leads to recovery of ganja

The Bengaluru East Police based on the revelation from one of the drug peddlers have now put many celebrities under the scanner. The police also conducted a search at model and actress Sonia Agarwal's house in HBR Layout and recovered ganja. During the time of search operations, the actress was away from home.

The Bengaluru police who are on the hunt for drug peddlers for the last two years, arrested a foreign national recently and based on the information and many celebrities under his primary contact list, the Bengaluru East Police searched model and actress Sonia Agarwal's home.

The East division police knocked on the actress's door early this morning. The actress was away and hence, the cops asked her father to open her room.

During the search, the police found 40-gram ganja. The cops then attempted to reach her for her reaction and also made her father call on her number, but she did not answer the phone.

It seems the actress has told her father that she will return home late at night.

Recently, the cops arrested Thomas, a Nigerian national in connection with drug peddling. The cops seized Rs 15.50 lakh worth of ecstasy drugs from him.

College students and techies were his clients and used to sell each drug pill for Rs 3000 and used to sell cocaine for 15,000 per gram.

The cops also have asked other celebrities in his primary contact list to depose before them for their statement.

Model hiding in bathroom in star hotel?

Meanwhile, according to reports the model was hiding at a star hotel and cops took her into custody.

The cops also have arrested DJ Vachan Chinappa also in this connection and investigation is on.
