Telangana: In yet another horrendous incident, just hours after the Cyberabad Police arrested four people in connection with the rape and murder case of a Telangana veterinary doctor in Hyderabad, another charred body of a woman has been found in the same locality. The dead body was found near a temple at a deserted place.

Reportedly, the victim is 35 years old. Her body was found on Siddulagutta road in Shamshabad area. Her body was taken to a government hospital for an autopsy. It is uncertain and yet to be established if the woman was sexually assaulted.

A case has been registered by the Shamshabad police and a probe has been initiated in relation to the case. The police are investigating all the angles in the case.

Cyberabad police commissioner VC Sajjanar said, "Body was found in an open area on the outskirts of Shamshabad. It is being moved to a government hospital for an autopsy, the case is being registered." 

A PRO official from Cyberabad said that an unidentified woman’s burnt dead body aged around 30-35 years was found near Siddulagutta temple road. 4 people witnessed the woman burning and rushed to douse the fire while they called two others for help. The woman is alleged to have set herself on fire. The official also state that a call was received on helpline number 100 at 8.30 pm and soon after the clues team and patrol vehicle reached the spot. The victim’s body was shifted to a government hospital and a case under IPC section 174 has been registered. 

The charred body of another woman has been found just a day after a doctor named Priyanka was raped, suffocated and burnt by four men in the same area of Telangana’s Hyderabad.

Addressing a press conference, Cyberabad police commissioner VC Sajjanar said that they have taken four people into custody under Sections 376, 302 and other relevant sections of the IPC.

The accused in the Telangana rape and murder case have also been booked under the Nirbhaya Act.

The accused have been identified as Mohammad Areef, Jollu Shiva, Jollu Naveen, and Chintakunta Chennakeshavulu.
