Legendary former Indian skipper MS Dhoni is undoubtedly one of the finest cricketers India has ever seen. From lightning-fast wicketkeeping skills to reliable batting, he has shined in all to help India attain monumental success in world cricket.

Although he might be retired from international cricket, he delivers his priceless services by leading Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League. As a result, he has to keep himself fit.

While CSK has done well in the now-suspended IPL 2021, Dhoni's job is far from over. With the tournament set to resume in the United Arab Emirates from September-October, he must ensure that the side seals a playoffs berth.

Consequently, Dhoni is seemingly training for the same, while he supposedly tested his running skills recently. In a video shared by Dhoni's wife Sakshi on Instagram, Dhoni runs alongside his new pet, a pony, in his sizeable seven-acre farmhouse in Ranchi.

Although Dhoni is considerably behind the pony's speed, fans believe he would catch up to it in no time. Meanwhile, Sakshi captioned the post, "Stronger faster ! #playtime #shetlandpony #racing", while she mixed the video with the song Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger by Daft Punk.

Notably, Dhoni happened to be one of the fast runners in Indian cricket and is still speedy between the wickets. However, besides his running skills, Dhoni would need to fire with the bat to help CSK attain the past glory, especially after having performed its worst in IPL 2020 in the gulf itself, missing out on the playoffs for the first time and finishing seventh.
