India performed remarkably in the fourth Test against England to lead the Pataudi Trophy five-Test series 2-0. Meanwhile, the win has seen the Indians showing some activity in the ICC Test Rankings.

Team India came up with a flying performance to tame England in the fourth Test to regain a 2-1 lead in the five-Test series for the Pataudi Trophy. As a result of this exquisite performance by the Indians, it has seen some shuffling in the ICC Test Rankings.

Senior opener Rohit Sharma was extraordinary, scoring 127 runs in the second innings. However, he has maintained his fifth spot, while skipper Virat Kohli stays a spot below. Also, pacer Jasprit Bumrah, who had four wickets in the Test, has gained a spot to ninth.

The notable performer in this Test was pacer Shardul Thakur, who also fired with the bat, scoring a half-century in each innings, besides claiming three wickets. As a result, he has risen 59 places to the 79th spot in the batsmen rankings, while among bowlers, he has climbed seven spots to 49th.

For England, Ollie Pope played a marvellous knock of 82 in the opening innings, thus taking him nine places, up to 49th. In the meantime, all-rounder Chris Woakes rose seven places, up to 87th, among batsmen, while in the bowling chart, he gained three spots, to 23rd. Also, pacer Ollie Robinson, who had a five-wicket haul in the match, is up to 33rd, gaining three places.
