India and England have a lot to fight it out, as they are engaged in a fierce battle in the second Test for the Pataudi Trophy 2021 at Lord's in London. It seems like the Test is headed for a draw, while India needs to come up with an acceptable performance on the penultimate day on Sunday.

The current Indian squad is without three players, as Washington Sundar, Avesh Khan and Shubman Gill, who have suffered respective injuries. Consequently, Prithvi Shaw and Suryakumar Yadav were sent in as replacements from them.

The duo was sent to England straight away from Sri Lanka, where a second-string side was engaged in limited-overs contests last month. The duo's travel to England was delayed as they were isolated after all-rounder Krunal Pandya tested COVID positive in Colombo.

Meanwhile, following their arrival in London, they underwent a mandatory ten-day quarantine. Nevertheless, their quarantine ended on Saturday, as they joined the Indian side on the fourth day of the ongoing second Test at Lord's.

Their picture was shared by the BCCI, as the pair were seen sitting on the Lord's balcony on Saturday. It was captioned, "Hello @PrithviShaw and @surya_14kumar. Welcome to Lord's!"

Although Shaw is back in the Test fray since his miserable outing in Australia earlier this year, it would be interesting to see if he gets a chance as an opener, with Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul being in fine form. As for Suryakumar, he is likely to be the replacement for vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane, who does not seem to have proper match fitness after missing out on the warm-up match due to swollen hamstring.
