Royal Challengers Bangalore would once again have the priceless services of former South African skipper AB de Villiers as the side resumes its Indian Premier League 2021 duties in the United Arab Emirates. Along with the side, he has begun preparations for the same, as he is looking to stay fresh and ready for some intense cricketing actions.

During one of his training videos posted by RCB, he was seen trying to hit the ball all over the training park, as fans can expect him to go all guns blazing. However, he happened to call himself an old man, reasoning for the intense training, as he looks to keep himself fit to the topmost level.

"It was very good (the training session). The wicket was a bit sticky, so it was quite tough, actually. Bowlers bowled very well, and it's humid here. We are gonna sweat a lot which is good for losing a bit of weight, but for an old man like me, I need to stay fresh as much as I can. It was a great session, and (it) was nice to see everyone out there. All the guys are looking very eager to get going. I am looking forward to tomorrow's warm-up game," he said in the video.

He was also excited to see and reunite with his teammates since the tournament was halted midway in May. "Absolutely, I have missed the guys. I have caught up with a couple of individuals, and I will get to meet up with the older guys over the next few days," he added.

"I have covered a couple of guys tonight, and it's nice to hear all the stories and what they got up to in the last couple of months. There's some interesting stuff that has happened and, it's great to be together as a team again," he concluded.
