IPL 2020 — Harbhajan Singh: 'These are difficult times, I would expect some privacy'
Chennai Super Kings' (CSK) spinner Harbhajan Singh has reacted for the first time after opting out of IPL 2020
Bengaluru: After withdrawing from the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020), Chennai Super Kings’ (CSK) offspinner Harbhajan Singh has requested privacy.
On Friday (September 4), the veteran India spinner pulled out of IPL due to personal reasons. He is currently spending time with family in Jalandhar, Punjab.

“Dear Friends, I will not be playing IPL this year due to personal reasons. These are difficult times and I would expect some privacy as I spend time with my family.
@ChennaiIPL CSK management has been extremely supportive and I wish them a great IPL Stay safe and Jai Hind,” Harbhajan tweeted.
The 40-year-old Harbhajan has played for the MS Dhoni-led CSK for two seasons. He is the second CSK player to pull out of IPL 2020, which will be played in the UAE from September 19 to November 10.

Earlier, Suresh Raina returned from Dubai to India after pulling out of the cash-rich Twenty20 tournament.
CSK are likely to have their first net session in Dubai today (September 4).
