FollowSharjah: With less than two weeks to go for the start of the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020), all eight teams are sweating it out in the UAE heat.
Delhi Capitals’ (DC) players hit the nets at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. The franchise, on its official Twitter handle, shared a video clip on Tuesday morning (September 8) for their training session.
In the video which was captioned, “An Indian southpaw smashing sixes off spinners at will in Sharjah Well, where have we heard that before? #Dream11IPL #YehHaiNayiDilli @RishabhPant17”, DC’s young wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant can be seen smashing sixes off spinners.

As he dispatched the deliveries into the empty stands, in the background, Pant’s teammates can he heard saying “Shot yaar, Rishabh”.
IPL 2020 will begin on September 19 in Abu Dhabi with defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) facing Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
DC’s first match is against Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) on September 20 in Dubai. The contest begins at 7.30 PM IST.
Meanwhile, South African pacer Kagiso Rabada took part in his first nets session with the DC squad on Monday evening (September 7), after having completed one week of self-isolation upon his arrival in Dubai. The 25-year-old trained with his teammates for the first time this season at the ICC Academy in Dubai on Monday.
