Now, the same opening day game is set to be played in the UAE, according to the report.

Despite the CSK camp being hit with COVID-19 positive cases, the BCCI is set to make them play the tournament opener.

MI and CSK had met in last IPL’s final where the ‘men in blue’ emerged victorious in a thrilling final.

The BCCI shifted IPL 2020 out of India due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The final is scheduled to be played on November 10. Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah will host the matches.
