Ahead of ICC WTC final, Ravi Shastri gives fielding lessons to a dog at Southampton; watch here

Team India head coach Ravi Shastri would hope that India emerges as the king of Test cricket under his guidance. While he has been training the Indians on a full scale, he also took some time off to train a dog in Southampton. Check it out.

Team India's utmost priority is to defeat New Zealand and emerge as the king of Test cricket in the ICC World Test Championship 2019-21 final at the Rose Bowl in Southampton from Friday. Also, head coach Ravi Shastri would have a vital role to play, to guide the side in this crucial encounter.

While he has been helping the side in the best possible manner, helping them train to the fullest and being watchful as to how the Indians are warming up ahead of the big clash, he took some time out to indulge in a fun activity well. He shared a video on his social media, where he was seen helping a dog out at the venue with some fielding skills.

In the video, Shastri is seen helping him play with a tennis ball and a racquet as he hits the ball into the outfield, while the Cocker Spaniel, who goes by the name Winston, runs into the outfield and claims the ball. Shastri is seen applauding it for its catch, while skipper Virat Kohli is also seen saying something about it to Shastri.

Although Winston refuses to return the ball back and keeps playing throughout, Shastri has one last go at it, as the doggie does the same again. Shastri is heard saying, "What a ball!" He captioned the video, "Our buddy Winston earns himself a tennis ball after #TeamIndia’s practice session #WTCfinal".
