For gold buyers, the difference between 24K and 22K prices reflects the purity of the metal. However, the final jewellery purchase price can be higher than the quoted market rate because of making charges, GST and other applicable costs.

With both precious metals trading at elevated levels, investors and jewellery buyers will continue to track domestic prices as well as international market movements for further direction.
