Porsche just announced sales data for the first three quarters of 2021. For the first time, sales of the company's Taycan electric sportscar have eclipsed those of the ever-popular Porsche 911. According to the sales report, Porsche sold 28,640 units of the Taycan in the first three quarters, compared to 27,972 units of its crown jewel, the 911.

Like the Taycan Cross Turismo's electric drive, the Taycan sports saloon's, receives 800-volt architecture, a high-tech chassis with all-wheel drive and adjustable air suspension for off-roading, and 30 mm more ground clearance. There is now 47 millimetres greater headroom for rear-seat passengers and a load capacity of more than 1,200 litres.

The Performance Battery Plus, with a total capacity of 93.4 kWh, is always included as standard equipment. The Taycan 4 Cross Turismo has a power output of 280 kW (380 PS), an overboost power for Launch Control of 350 kW (476 PS), a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 5.1 seconds, a peak speed of 220 km/h, and a range (WLTP) of 389 – 456 km.
The Taycan Cross Turismo takes design ideas from the Mission E Cross Turismo concept shown at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. It sports a dynamic roofline that slopes downward to the back and is known as a "flyline," as well as wheel arch trims, distinctive front and rear lower aprons, and side sills. The Cross Turismo includes specific flaps at the front and rear bumper corners and at the ends of the sills. Porsche has created a rear carrier that can hold up to three bicycles, and the company is also introducing two high-quality e-bikes simultaneously: the eBike Sport and the eBike Cross.
