Chandrababu invites investors to set up industries in AP

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu in his US tour met with industrialists, agricultural scientists and CFOs of seed companies and invited them to personally visit the state and find out how peaceful and investor-friendly it is.

He invited the industrial investors to directly experience the friendly nature of the people of AP. He also revealed that AP is building its own Greenfield capital city Amaravathi after the bifurcation.

AP has the name of Knowledge State which it is now trying to upgrade it to Knowledge Economy. He said that this new state is an agricultural-based state. Chandrababu said that for the first time in the country rivers were linked up to provide water to everyone.

He said AP is planning for a mechanised agriculture with new approaches to develop forest, cattle and fisheries departments. He spoke about encouraging drip irrigation.

He also informed about the participation of Bill and Melinda Gates in the international agricultural meet in November in AP. He said that the government has given special importance to agriculture.

Chandrababu said that AP is in the first place in Ease of Doing Business and that the state aims for 15 percent Growth Rate in the next 15 to 20 years. He said that AP’s Growth Rate is more than India’s average Growth Rate of 11.72 percent.
