Tamil Nadu wall collapse: Death toll rises to 15; rescue operation underway

Coimbatore: As many as 15 persons died after a compound wall collapsed and damaged three houses in Nadoor Kannappan Layout in Mettupalayam, Tamil Nadu, on Monday (December 2) morning, following heavy rains in the region.

Rescue operation is underway with both residents and the fire department active on clearing the debris to recover trapped people. Further information is awaited.
