Chennai: Playback singer SP Balasubrahmanyam passed away on September 25. The legendary singer breathed his last at 1:04 pm at MGM Healthcare Hospital in Chennai.
Superstar Rajinikanth took to social media to pay respect to Balasubrahmanyam. Rajinikanth wrote, “#RIP Balu sir ... you have been my voice for many years ... your voice and your memories will live with me forever ... I will truly miss you ...(sic)."
In the video, the superstar said that SPB would always think about his fans. He added that SPB will live on in our memories and through his hit songs. The SPB had recorded over 40,000 songs in 16 languages. He also holds the Guinness World record for recording the highest number of songs by a singer
