KLF chief Harmeet Singh, wanted in several murders of RSS leaders, shot dead in Pakistan

Amritsar: Chief of Khalistan Liberation Force (KLF) Harmeet Singh alias Happy PhD was shot dead by unidentified youth in Pakistan last night over financial disputes stemming from drug smuggling, according to security officials who did not want to be named. His body was kept at the Baba Nanki Gurdwara before the Kot Khalsa Police sent it for post mortem. Harmeet Singh, who was also allegedly involved in the murders of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leaders in Punjab in 2016-2017, was killed at the Dera Chahal Gurdwara near Lahore on Monday afternoon.

He was wanted in India in several cases and was involved in the smuggling of weapons and drugs from Pakistan.

Harmeet was a resident of Amritsar and his parents still live there. According to Harmeet's father, he had gone to Pakistan and since then they have no contact with him.
