MG Astor is sold out in India

MG Motor India has sold out of its Astor mid-segment SUV for 2021. According to the company, MG sold 5,000 Astor cars within minutes of taking reservations for buyers. MG has only allotted 5,000 units of the mid-size SUV for the Indian market in 2021. The second batch of SUVs will be on sale on November 1st, 2021, for Rs 25,000, with deliveries commencing in 2022. On October 11th, the MG Astor was unveiled in India, with a starting price of Rs 9.78 Lakh (ex-showroom).

The MG Astor, according to Rajeev Chaba, President & MD of MG Motor India, is a premium mid-segment SUV with attractive exteriors, luxurious interiors, and cutting-edge technology. He went on to say that the firm is delighted with the feedback it has gotten from its customers. However, he said that owing to the industry's global chip problem, the business could only produce a limited number of vehicles this year. Meanwhile, the company expects supply to increase starting in the first quarter of next year. Reservations for the Astor for 2022 may also be made on the carmaker's website or at an MG showroom, according to the company.
