Twitter launches voice DMs; Here's how you can send it
Twitter has launched its new feature, voice DMs in India, Brazil, Japan. But how to send a voice note?
Twitter has rolled out its latest feature on sending messages via voice notes. Users can send 140 seconds maximum. Its a test feature which will be available on both iOS and Android.
Manish Maheshwari, Managing Director of Twitter, "India is a priority market for Twitter and that is why we're constantly testing new features and learning from people's experience on the service here. We're excited to bring the voice messages in DMs experiment to the country and give people a new way to express themselves and help them connect through the nuances, emotion, and empathy built by hearing someone's voice."
Here's how to send a voice note, Android users can send a voice text by tapping on the voice record icon. Record your message and then send it to. iOS users can swipe and release the voice text to send anyone.
Even if the feature is available on iOS and Android versions, the recipients can be web-version as well. Till now, every other social media platforms had the voice feature. Now, Twitter will also be in that game encouraging users to use more.
