Spotify announces its new launch, and it promises to enable the new HiFi mode, which the 'CD-quality' audio. Though there's no much revelation about the update, Spotify uses Ogg Vorbis on desktop and mobile and AAC for the web player.

Spotify is Apple's Music streaming service's rivalry. So, with this update rolling out, they will have a differentiating factor. The company has been testing this feature for a couple of years now, since 2017. The update will give you high defining and high-resolution audio.

But, the feature won't be available for all. As the company revealed, the lossless audio quality will roll out only in a few selected areas worldwide when it goes live later this year.
